We are trusted by over 50,000 patients every month. Here's what they have to say.
I like the flexibility of virtual appointments.
Absolutely perfect. Extremely professional visits, always on time and no front desk staff or traffic!!! How can you beat this?
I’ve had an amazing experience. I liked how I was able to read up on the providers to find the right fit for me. The one I chose is absolutely the right fit and has worked with me to find the correct dosage of medication.
Love the convenience and privacy!
Very convenient, easy to get an appointment, provider visits have been very efficient and professional. I felt like the provider listened to my concerns and gave me the care I needed.
Great service and caring doctors.
My provider is the kindest person and she’s very patient and caring. She’s very helpful. The whole setup of Circle Medical is easy and efficient!
This was my first experience using something like this and the entire process was very helpful. The staff responded promptly when I had questions and I absolutely love my provider. I was very nervous about the process but she made me feel comfortable and helped me feel like I wasn’t alone. I am so happy I found Circle Medical
Modern day convenience. Great experience.
Convenience. Flexible appointment times and helpful physicians. There’s always someone available to assist if I have an issue with my prescription or pharmacy.
My provider is wonderful and so accomodating. I've been to psychs in the past that have been very rude and clearly wanted to get the visit over with ASAP, but she never rushes, she listens to me cite my complaints and praises about my current treatment plan, and then responds with true care.
I LOVE my practitioner from Circle Medical. She is caring and careful. She adjusts my meds as needed. She has made a difference in my health and well being.
Super easy, fantastic service and care!
I have been using Circle for half a year and never had an issue. Questions were answered within the time given. My provider has been there for me 1000%. Never late!! Pleasant and caring always asked how she can HELP!! I have only good things to say. You're wasting your own time, employer's time, gas and cash going to a doctor's office.
I love the app. Excellent. You could book on an appt early or on weekends. The provider I work with is knowledgeable, friendly, compassionate and very supportive and thorough!!!
Friendly staff. Compassion for ailment, quick response and open schedules. Very knowledgeable team!
Wonderful experience. I feel heard. The virtual visit with the PCP has been so positive. I feel I've gotten better care than I have had in my past in person visits.
Easy to schedule and do appointments, the biggest plus for me is that the prescription is sent immediately after the appointment to my desired pharmacy with no delay, and if I need to change pharmacies that's also extremely quick.
My provider is honestly the best I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. Her “bedside manner” and the amount of care and concern she has for her patients (and patients as real humans, not just numbers) is beyond compare.
I love speaking with my provider, she always listens to me and takes the time to be interested in me as a person!!
The app is easy to navigate and book appointments. Also being able to reschedule is great for someone like myself who works on call and has a difficult time keeping appointments.
I have NEVER had healthcare that was this accessible. Thank you.
I love the convenience and ease of scheduling appointments. The providers I have interacted with have been great! They really care about their patients.
Amazing staff who are looking to do everything they can to help you with any problem you may have. I was able to get an appointment within a few days for my first consultation compared to a couple months with another service I used to be with. All around it was a great decision moving to Circle Medical, couldn’t be happier.
Very easy to use and great providers. Mine is very personable and helpful.
The attention my provider has for me as a patient. Not just the generic questions but rephrasing them in to something that is specific to me and I can understand.
Circle Medical has been extremely patient-oriented and has helped me feel like I’m in good hands with my mental health, receiving my medications on time with no issues.
I love my provider. He is very thorough and is easy to get ahold of.
I appreciate how simple it is to connect with a provider. Mine has been a pleasure to work with and she has met all of my needs. I’m so glad I found Circle Medical.
Always professional, always wise, always goes above and beyond!
My provider has been an amazingly attentive, caring, and informative professional. The accessibility that this group provides is helping me take control of my health.
It is so difficult to access mental health care services right now especially for ADHD, I have received immediate and responsive care that has already improved my quality of life, thank you.
I’ve been very impressed by Circle. They are using technology to solve access issues in healthcare. The tech is impressive and the support staff and practitioners are very professional and kind. Well done.
Circle Medical has been so amazing with me from the provider to customer service. They really do care about my concerns. It has been so easy and simple.
As someone who has ADHD, simply setting up an account on the site was so easy. You can tell that this was made with neurodivergent people in mind. Things are just SIMPLE.
I felt like someone was finally listening and validating me. Other doctors treated me like I was seeking drugs and I couldn’t possibly have the problems or that they aren’t that bad and it’s my fault. Thank you so much for listening, asking me questions, and letting me answer.
It has been fast and easy. The clinicians are great and I found my primary care through this. I love how they are even knowledgeable about LGBTQ+ stuff which is exactly what I've been looking for
I love not having to wait before my appointment begins in the lobby and not having to drive there also saves time. It was also great when I had COVID, as I did not have to expose anyone and still could get medical help. I also got life changing diagnosis of ADHD through Circle Medical. I LOVE MY PROVIDER, she is amazing!
Great doctors, great customer support, prescription is sent to my pharmacy electronically, payments are done internal (no third parties), easy and simple.
My provider is extremely caring, she believes in always giving me her most honest and sincere feedback regardless of wether I like it or not. I look forward to seeing her every month. Circle Medical and my provider have given my life purpose, and I now understand my shortcomings not as failures but as a condition.
As your new medical home, we see you when you’re sick, but also when you’re well, so we can help develop a preventive plan to keep you that way. We play nice with the rest of the healthcare system and take care of your prescriptions, lab orders and referrals. What We Treat

Our affiliation with UCSF is more than just a partnership. Our providers must hit specific patient care metrics and consistently deliver the highest possible level of care.Read Full Article
Virtual appointments allow our patients to see their providers in the comfort of their own homes. Our providers are also able to offer more flexible hours beyond what in-person doctor’s offices provide.
If any in-person care is needed, such as bloodwork, vaccinations, or other testing, our providers are able to send the appropriate request to a nearby lab. Results will be integrated with our HIPAA-compliant mobile app so that patients have access to all of their medical records in one secure place.
For those with insurance, cost will depend on the specific type of care you receive and the coverage of your insurance plan. We provide a cost estimate based on each patient’s insurance plan when they book an appointment.
For those without insurance, we provide the self-pay costs of each appointment when a patient is booking their appointment.
To see our list of currently available states, begin booking an appointment.
You must be currently residing in the state of treatment as well as have your primary pharmacy be in that same state in order to be a patient at our practice.
Our ADHD providers are primary care providers (MDs/DOs, NPs, and PAs) who have received specialized training for ADHD intake. They are trained by psychiatrists to ensure a high standard of care, but they are not psychiatrists themselves.
Although it is a commonly accepted practice for many primary care providers to refer their patients to psychiatrists for ADHD diagnosis and treatment, primary care providers are actually also able to diagnose and treat mild to moderate forms of ADHD themselves. If you have mild to moderate ADHD, you can benefit from having your ADHD managed by your primary care provider at Circle while getting access to all of the general practitioner services you would find at your normal doctor's office.
More complex cases will require psychiatrists to diagnose. We encourage you to please read through this entire FAQ to make sure our practice is a good fit for your needs before you book a medical appointment with a provider.
Our goal as a primary care practice is to make behavioral healthcare more accessible and integrated with primary care. However, primary care has its limitations and this means that receiving behavioral health treatment through Circle Medical is not for everybody. Please read the following carefully to understand whether Circle Medical may be a good fit for you.
You are a good candidate for receiving a comprehensive ADHD assessment and/or ADHD treatment through Circle Medical if:
- You have never had an ADHD diagnosis before but have always suspected you may have mild to moderate ADHD
- You have had an ADHD diagnosis (with a dosage of less than 60mg/day of a stimulant if on a stimulant treatment plan) as a child but have not taken medication for it in months/years and are noticing the effects on your work and/or personal life
- You have a current ADHD diagnosis (with a dosage of less than 60mg/day of a stimulant if you are on a stimulant treatment plan) and are on a treatment plan with another practice, but would like to explore switching over your treatment to Circle Medical
Circle Medical is a primary care practice, which means that we are not able to treat more complex cases of ADHD/ADD. Circle is not a good fit for you if:
- You require a controlled stimulant dosage of over 60mg/day
- You are regularly taking benzodiazepines for other treatment (such as Klonopin or Xanax)
- You are regularly taking opioids for other treatment
- You have a more complex mental health history that may require psychiatric expertise in order to treat safely (this can include hospitalizations related to mental health and/or having bipolar disorder)
Yes, we write prescriptions for controlled substances. Your provider will determine the appropriate treatment for you.
As a primary care practice, we do have a maximum dose of 60mg/day of most stimulant treatments. Most of our patients require a much smaller dosage for effective treatment. If you have a previous treatment plan of greater than 60mg/day, our practice will not be a good fit for you.
Please note: we also prescribe non-stimulant treatment plans depending on what would be best for each individual case.
We provide a cost estimate when you are booking your appointment. For those with insurance, your actual cost is determined after we submit the insurance claim for your appointment. Once we submit the claim, insurance companies will pay for a portion of the appointment and pass on any remaining cost to you. Once we know what this cost is, we will update you with an invoice within the app.
For those with insurance, it typically takes 1-3 weeks for the insurance claim to be processed. Once processed, we’ll send you an invoice within the app with any remaining costs. You can then opt to pay through the app, or we will automatically charge the payment card on file after 48 hours of sending you the invoice.
For those without insurance (or with out of network insurance), we will send you the invoice 1-2 days after your appointment is completed. You can then opt to pay through the app, or we will automatically charge the payment card on file after 48 hours of sending you the invoice.
The first intake appointment is 30 minutes. Follow-up appointments are 20 minutes each.
We accept over 1,500+ insurance plans. We cover most of the major PPO insurance companies (payors) across the United States. The best way to confirm coverage of your insurance plan is to begin booking an appointment on our website or via our mobile app. During the booking process, you’ll be prompted to enter your insurance information for a real-time verification of your insurance plan.
The best way to confirm your insurance plan coverage is to call the Member Services phone number on the back of your insurance card. If needed, you can reference our Tax ID#: 474883537 and our NPI: 1134596091. Once you are able to confirm your coverage and your primary care copay costs, you can use the in-app chat to message our team with the information. We’ll then follow up with confirmation.
Your per-appointment costs are set by your insurance plan. If the costs seem high, you may be on a high deductible health plan (HDHP). This means that you have an annual out-of-pocket amount that you must pay on healthcare in a given year before your insurance plan will cover more of your per-appointment costs.
If you are on an HDHP and have confirmed your insurance information in our mobile app, your remaining deductible for the year will be displayed on the “Book Appointment” page. Note that this amount may be outdated if you have had recent insurance claims processed.
