Why don’t I have an assigned provider?
Circle Medical will assign you a Primary Care Provider after your initial visit. For future visits, this provider’s availabilities will show up first to help you maintain consistent care.
What if I already have a Primary Care Provider?
We will still assign you a Primary Care Provider to maintain consistent care at Circle Medical, but we will not replace your outside Primary Care Provider if you do not want us to. Your outside Primary Care Provider will remain the name of record on your insurance.
What are the benefits of having a single Primary Care Provider?
It can be difficult to build the trust and rapport necessary for providers to deliver the best care possible. Seeing a single provider enables you to build a long-term patient/provider relationship, which can significantly improve your healthcare outcomes. It will also make seeking care more like speaking to a trusted confidant - and less like speaking to a stranger.
What if I don’t like the PCP that gets assigned to me?
If you don’t like your PCP, you can connect with Patient Care Advocates via chat to select a new one. In order to maintain an organized medical history, and to help providers have a stable panel of patients, we do not allow you to change your PCP directly in the app. You can also book with any provider licensed to practice in your state through the app. You are never limited to just your Primary Care Provider.
