What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider? I am most passionate about listening to patients and empowering them to be the best that they can be, for both themselves and humanity. I am also very passionate about helping people understand what their health means to them, and how to reach their individualized health-related goals. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? In my opinion, the fundamental function of a primary care provider is helping people to recognize their health strengths and deficits, and empowering patients in setting realistic health-related goals to achieve their optimal potential. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? I was born and raised in San Diego, California, but am an all around outdoors woman. I am an avid hiker and backpacker, and love to rock climb and run on a regular basis. My healthcare interests include Family Medicine, Integrative Medicine, Functional Medicine, and Neurology/Neurological Surgery.
