Josh started his career in medicine as a medic in the United States Air Force. His time in the Air Force, both stateside and overseas, allowed him to hone his craft and learn from some of the military's best Doctors, PAs, and NPs. He subsequently completed a dual Physician Assistant/Public Health program at Touro University in Vallejo, CA. Josh uses his public health education to see broader contributions to health and illness. He is currently working as a lead investigator in lifestyle-related research. Josh brings this approach to each patient encounter as he likes to search for upstream causes of chronic health conditions. His passion for preventive medicine combines seamlessly with his acute medicine experience at urgent care's and military medicine. Whether facing an acute illness or chronic condition, Josh creates a partnership to help correct the immediate cause of concern and then shifts to optimizing future health. Patient education and empowerment are at the core of Josh's approach to medicine.
