Having spent 5 years in Emergency Medicine, Kadi Weyandt decided to continue her career in Primary Care to build long term relationships with her patients and achieve the health goals together. In Primary Care she has particular interest in Mental Health and changing stigmas associated with it. Kadi was born and spent her early years in Estonia which at that time was within the Soviet Union. Economic times were very challenging and there was not an emphasis in the softer side of patient care within the healthcare. Having experience this as well as the US system of healthcare she appreciates the value of treating patients with empathy and putting their care first. As a key to a success in achieving trust and mutual health goals together. She spends her summers in Wisconsin and winters in Florida with her husband and two teenage boys. She enjoys yoga, golf, and hiking. She has a keen interest in international travel and has been in over 50 countries. She particularly enjoys learning new languages and appreciating different cultures.
