Maria McMillon became a Primary Care provider because she enjoys seeing patients improve their lives and how they feel each day. She completed her Master’s degrees in Physician Assistant Studies and Public Health at Touro University California. Prior to joining Circle Medical, she worked for the past 1.5 years in a Bay Area community clinic. Maria likes to take a patient-centered approach to care and enjoys when patients participate in their medical care decisions. She thinks education and promoting lifestyle changes should be a big part of most treatment plans, as lifestyle is often a root cause of many symptoms and diseases. In her mind, more medication is not always the best medicine. The most rewarding thing for her is seeing patients improve how they feel, reverse their diseases or get off medications through lasting changes they make themselves. Maria’s interests include women’s health, sexual health, acne/rosacea, diabetes, and preventative medicine. Outside of work, Maria enjoys gardening, baking, and playing with her dogs.
