What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider?
My passion for being a healthcare provider comes from the drive to help my clients become healthier. I love being a part of the process that bolsters their ability to live with chronic conditions. For these reasons, I love working on plans with my clients to achieve their best possible health outcomes.
In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs?
I believe my role as a primary care provider is to advocate, support and educate my clients to help achieve maximum health outcomes.
Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time?
I've been a Nurse Practitioner for ten years specializing in community nursing. I'm a mother of two college-age kids. In my spare time I like to read, travel and cook. Education is important to me and I strive to learn everyday.
