What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider? Healthcare is constantly evolving and changing, and I enjoy working in a field in which there's always something to learn and never a dull moment. Healthcare allows me to share healthcare information and increase health literacy and awareness among my patients. I enjoy partnering with each patient and helping to guide them into improved health outcomes and overall well-being. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? The role of the PCP for a patient should be to treat the whole person, discovering how a patient's mental and behavior health has an impact on physical health, understanding all aspects of one's health and well-being are connected. The primary care provider is typically the first point of contact for a patient's entry into the healthcare system, so it's very important for the PCP to listen and determine what a patient's needs are and help formulate a plan to address those needs. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? I love good food, good music and good people. I enjoy spending time outdoors and socializing with friends and family. I also like to read, travel and dine out during my spare time.
