What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider?
I graduated from the University of Utah Physician Assistant program with a focus in primary care. My interests include mental health, medical education, and disease prevention focusing on lifestyle changes. I enjoy getting to know each patient and their unique path in life. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health?
The job of a primary care provider is to develop lasting connections with their patients and provide a comfortable space to discuss all medical questions and concerns - both physical and behavioral. Primary care should be integrative and personalized, based on evidence-based practices with a focus on preventative medicine. Tell us a little about yourself- what do you do in your spare time?
In my free time I enjoy staying active outside- hiking, running, and skiing.
