What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider? As a Nurse Practitioner, I am driven by the desire to make a positive impact on people's lives. I enjoy learning, improving my skills, and providing treatment using evidence-based practices. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? The role of a primary care provider is important as we are often the first line in determining a patient's diagnosis and in formulating treatment plans. We are often involved in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and coordination of care in the patient's journey to attain a desired outcome in their health status. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? I enjoy physical activity. I often go to the gym 2-3 times weekly where I enjoy weight lifting and playing basketball. I also enjoy watching movies and relaxing at home in my spare time.
