During your consultation, we'll take a close look at your health history and symptoms to determine if treatment is the right choice for you.

Can I start menopause treatment without an in-person visit?

Yes. In most cases, telemedicine with Circle Medical lets you consult with our experienced healthcare providers from the comfort of your home. During your virtual appointment, we'll go over your symptoms, medical history, and any relevant tests to determine if menopause treatment is a good fit.

What can I expect during the follow-up appointments?

Follow-up appointments are designed to ensure safety and evaluate if your treatment is working effectively. We'll check in to see whether your symptoms are improving, address any concerns, and make necessary adjustments to your treatment plan.

Why would I choose a virtual telemedicine appointment over going to my doctor's office?

Virtual appointments allow our patients to see their providers in the comfort of their own homes. Our providers are also able to offer more flexible hours beyond what in-person doctor's offices provide.

What if I need in-person testing or examinations?

If any in-person care is needed, such as bloodwork, vaccinations, or other testing, our providers are able to send the appropriate request to one of our 4,000+ partner lab locations that is convenient for you. Results will be integrated with our HIPAA-compliant mobile app so that patients have access to all of their medical records in one secure place.

How long are appointments?

Standard video appointments are 30 minutes, other appointment type lengths may vary.

Does my provider accept my insurance?

Our practice accepts a wide range of commercial insurances. Please note that individual providers may be in-network with different insurances, and we are unable to accept certain plan types based on our insurance contracts. To confirm if we accept your insurance, you can go through our insurance verification during the appointment booking process, or on our mobile or web apps.

How much will my appointment cost if I’m using insurance?

Visits cost $35 on average with insurance. We will provide a cost estimate at booking, although there are cases where insurance will not provide real-time benefit information. Your final out-of-pocket cost is determined after we submit a claim to your insurance, and is based on the details of your insurance plan. Book an appointment and enter your insurance information to get an estimate before you confirm. For the most accurate estimate, call the number on the back of your insurance card.

How does billing work?

If you choose to self-pay, you will be sent an invoice shortly after your provider finalizes your appointment summary (typically within two days). Any balances that are not paid within 48 hours of invoice notice will be charged to your default payment method on file. If you choose to bill your appointment to insurance, it typically takes 4-6 weeks for your insurance to process your claim and return your out-of-pocket cost, including any applicable deductibles, co-pays, and/or coinsurance. The amount on the invoice should reflect the balance that is owed after your insurance has paid its share. You will be sent an invoice letting you know of an upcoming charge for your out-of-pocket cost. Any balances that are not paid within 48 hours of invoice notice will be charged to your default payment method on file.
