Tell us what makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider. I’m passionate about being a healthcare provider because I feel that I am able to easily speak to people about their health and help them make the best decisions for them. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? As a primary care provider, I think it’s important for me to help manage the patients concerns as well as to help coordinate care with any specialists. As a PCP, I feel I am better able to know and focus on the patient as a whole rather than one system at a time, as a specialist can do. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? I moved back to Texas several years ago after spending time in the mountains of North Carolina. I am a Texas native and love getting to spend time with my family. I am happily married to my husband and we love traveling and going on adventures of all sorts.
