Tell us what makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider. I truly enjoy working with patients to, through joint effort, improve their health. Seeing a patient not only get better but hear that they understand their treatment plan and what is going on with their own body is my biggest motivator to do what I do. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? A primary care provider is there through all phases of a patient's life. Whether through direct treatment or coordinating specialist care, your primary care provider should be by your side through it all. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? In my spare time, I participate in medical outreach in Honduras. I also work with several international health initiatives.
