Tell us what makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider. I am passionate about providing personalized healthcare to my patients. I enjoy teaching them about disease processes and the best ways to treat and prevent them. I enjoy developing a patient provider relationship where we can work together to improve their health and lives. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? The role of a primary care provider is to offer patient centered healthcare that focuses on the whole patient, both physically and mentally. It is to listen to concerns, make diagnoses, and give the patient the pertinent information to make an informed decision together on treatment. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? I have been a physician assistant for 10 years working in primary care and internal medicine. I have 3 daughters who are the light of my life. I enjoy hiking, biking, exercising, and traveling in my spare time.
