Tell us what makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider. I’m passionate about helping patients achieve their goals. I believe medicine is one piece of the puzzle. I focus on the whole patient including lifestyle, exercise and nutrition. We can work together to empower you to live healthy. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? The PCP should provide medical knowledge when needed but also be an active listener with regards to what the patient needs. The patient should be empowered to ultimately make decisions about their health. The PCP can provide recommendations, however the patient decides what they will do with that information. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? I enjoy reading and watching movies. I love to exercise and I’m getting back into running lately.
