I value the responsibility of guiding patients through uncertainty with clarity, evidence-based care, and practical solutions they can trust. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? A primary care provider should serve as the patient’s central medical strategist—integrating physical health, behavioral health, and lifestyle factors into one coherent plan. Beyond diagnosing and prescribing, the role includes identifying patterns early, addressing mental health as inseparable from physical disease, and coordinating care to prevent fragmentation. The goal is continuity, prevention, and long-term resilience, not just episodic treatment. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? Biking, hiking, meditating, going to beach and connect to the ocean. Spend time with my fiancée, cooking, reading (a lot) and writing a lot.
