What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider? I am passionate about being a healthcare provider because I value the opportunity to serve others in their time of need. Providing information, support, and disease management to patients is more important now than ever, and I want to do my part as a clinician. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? A primary care physician provides medical care and is often the first point of contact for their patient's health concerns. As a primary care provider, the whole patient is considered, including their mental, physical, and emotional health. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? As an experienced clinician, I continue to educate myself on clinical advances in medicine. I also love spending time with my children and grandchildren, sharing fun activities like hiking and other outdoor events.
