I’m passionate about being a healthcare provider because it allows me to blend evidence-based medicine with genuine human connection in a way that truly impacts people’s lives. I strive to create a space where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to take ownership of their health. For me, medicine is about more than treatment—it’s about building trust, fostering clarity, and supporting people in becoming their healthiest, most grounded selves. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? A primary care provider should serve as both a clinical guide and a consistent point of trust—addressing physical health while also recognizing the deep connection between mental, emotional, and behavioral well-being. This means not only diagnosing and treating conditions, but also identifying underlying stressors, supporting preventive care, and coordinating resources like therapy or specialty care when needed. At its core, the role is to care for the whole person—ensuring patients feel seen, supported, and equipped to navigate their health with clarity and confidence. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? Outside of medicine, I really value balance and creativity—I enjoy spending time writing and playing the piano, both of which allow me to slow down and express myself in a more reflective way. I also appreciate quiet, restorative time—reading, reflecting, and staying grounded spiritually. Overall, I try to live intentionally, making space for both personal growth and the things that bring a sense of calm, inspiration, and connection.
