Sonsheehray is passionate about providing compassionate, individualized care that helps patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their health. With more than 30 years of experience in healthcare, including over a decade as a Family Nurse Practitioner, she values building trusting relationships and looking beyond symptoms to understand the whole person. She is especially passionate about making healthcare accessible, supportive, and empowering so patients can feel confident in the decisions they make about their well-being. Sonsheehray has experience in mental health and substance use. She is currently working on her PMHNP for dual certification. Sonsheehray believes a primary care provider should serve as a trusted partner who considers the whole person, recognizing that physical, behavioral, and spiritual health are closely connected. She believes primary care should include prevention, early identification of concerns, thoughtful treatment, and coordination of care while creating a supportive environment where patients feel comfortable discussing both their physical and emotional well-being. Her goal is to empower patients through education and shared decision-making so they can take an active role in achieving their best overall health. In her spare time, Sonsheehray enjoys spending time with her family and her dogs, cooking, and being outdoors. She also enjoys home design and creative projects, including writing children’s stories. She values the simple things that help her recharge—time with the people and animals she loves, laughter, creativity, and making meaningful memories.
