How should I prepare for my first appointment at Circle Medical?

Complete the check-in steps in the Circle Medical app or web portal before your appointment, including your insurance details. Have a list of your current medications and any recent test results ready to share, and join from a quiet place with a reliable internet connection a few minutes early. Why would I choose a virtual telemedicine appointment over going to my doctor's office?

With Circle Medical, you don't have to choose. We offer virtual care appointments as well as in-person visits at select in-person locations. Virtual visits allow you to see a provider from the comfort of your home. No travel, no parking hassles, and more flexible scheduling than a traditional doctor's office, when appropriate.

Can Circle Medical order lab work and in-person tests?

Yes. Your Circle Medical provider can order bloodwork and other lab tests at a lab near you, such as Quest or LabCorp. You'll see your results in the Circle Medical web portal or mobile app. If you need an exam or imaging that can't happen during a video appointment, your provider can refer you to a specialist.

Is Circle Medical available in my state?

Circle Medical sees patients in 32 U.S. states. To check yours, start booking and enter your location. Prefer to see someone in person? Find our clinic locations .

How long are the appointments?

Your first appointment is 30 minutes, and follow-up appointments are 15 minutes. Other appointment types may vary in length.

Is Circle Medical in network with my insurance?

We’re in network with most health insurance plans. Check your insurance to confirm your plan is accepted and get a free estimate of your out-of-pocket cost. When you book, we’ll help you find a provider who is in network with your plan. We can’t accept Medicaid or Medi-Cal, even for self-pay.

How much does a Circle Medical appointment cost?

With insurance, patients with an accepted plan paid an average of $35 out of pocket per appointment over the last 6 months. Your out-of-pocket cost depends on your plan and deductible. Check your insurance for a free estimate of your out-of-pocket cost, or see your estimated cost when you book. If you choose to self-pay, appointments start at $120. You’ll see the exact price for your appointment when you book.

When will Circle Medical charge me for my appointment?

You’ll get an invoice before you’re charged, and you have 48 hours to pay it in the app or web portal. After that, we charge the card on file. With insurance: We send your invoice once your insurance processes the claim for your appointment. Self-pay: We send your invoice 1 to 2 days after your appointment.
