What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider? I am passionate about providing holistic care to patients across the life span. While being able to DIAGNOSIS, PRESCRIBE, AND MANAGE their symptoms through effective listening and communication. As a doctoral prepared nurse practitioner, I set the precedence to ensure my patients are provided with quality care based on evidence-based practices. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? The role is to gather past/current medical history, family history, assessments, symptoms management, effective listening, communication, diagnosis, medication management and follow ups. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? In my spare time I love to go swimming. I also enjoy reading a good book with some relaxation and self-care time.
