What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider? I have found joy in helping others from a very young age. I am fortunate and grateful to be able to make this my profession and passion in life. As a military spouse, I understand the importance of having access to quality health care any where in the world and I am humbled by the opportunity to serve you. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? The primary care provider is the first step in insuring comprehensive health care. My experiences as a provider during the pandemic really highlighted the interconnectedness between physical and mental health. I believe the primary care provider role is to be the patient's advocate for holistic medicine. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? First and foremost, I am a mother and wife. I have two beautiful children and a husband who serves in the US Air Force. I am passionate about my profession and actively working towards my DNP. When not studying and caring for the family, I enjoy traveling, spending time with friends, and caring for animals in the local communities.
