“I love being able to set my own schedule around my life. This is a rarity as a physician in a standard clinic.  We are often told when to work, how long, and when we can take a break.  With Circle, we are given expectations of work and we make it work the way we need to for balance in our lives.”

Dr. Lynne Lazarus, Board Certified Family Medicine, 23 years of experience

Continuity of care

As a Circle Medical independent PCP, you have the freedom to set your own patient care hours. Delivering a true Primary Care experience means our network providers are committed to the empanelment of patients and prioritize continuity of care. This results in our independent network of PCPs committing to a minimum average of 20 patient care hours per week.

Earnings

Pay is fee-for-service ranging $33 or $50 per patient encounter for NPs/PAs and MD/DOs respectively. As you establish your panel of patients (usually within the first 90 days), you’ll be afforded endless moonlighting opportunities throughout our comprehensive, collaborative care practice. At around the same time, you will also become eligible for quality care incentive programs giving you complete control over your earning potential.

Collaboration

Providers are empowered to practice at the top of their licenses by collaborating with some of the top medical specialists in their field. Communication and clinical collaboration is highly valued amongst our network of independent providers.

Technology-driven primary care.

Circle Medical is a digital-first practice that leverages cutting-edge technology to provide a better patient and provider experience. Patients use our mobile phone app to book and attend video appointments. As a provider, you will be using our proprietary electronic health records system to conduct patient two-way-video-audio visits, charting, collaboration with a team of dedicated Patient Care Advocates and more.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does Circle Medical deliver a ‘true’ primary care experience over telemedicine?

Providers have the ability to see and treat a variety of conditions over telemedicine, including both preventative, acute, and long-term care. Supported by team of mission-driven, Patient Care Advocates, providers can order routine and diagnotic testing including labs, imaging, and referrals to specialists as needed. Follow up care can be scheduled by both the patient and provider within seconds all while making your patient feel supported and heard as our Telemedicine visits are always over 2-way-video-audio and never automated.

How long is Circle Medical’s application process?

Upon submitting your application it will be handled and reviewed by our small, yet dedicated team of Telemedicine Success leaders. Because we leverage asynchronous communication with you during the initial stages, applicants will find a significantly swifter interview process. We do this by alleviating inevitable scheduling conflicts that result in clinical recruiting delays that can take weeks if not months, whereas at Circle Medical the application to decision process averages only 5 business days!

In which states do you operate?

AZ, CA, CO, DC, FL, IL, NJ, NM, NY, MA, MD, NV, OR, PA, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA. We are always evolving and thus these states are subject to change. The network application will make reference to the most up-to-date information.

What credentials and experience are required?

The following qualifications must be met:

  • MD, DO, PA-C, ARNP/NP-C actively licensed to practice medicine in at least one of the aforementioned states

  • Board certified in Family or Internal Medicine

  • Prior experience in a clinical setting working with adult patient populations required

What is the patient population that Circle Medical serves?

Circle Medical is an adult-only primary care practice. Circle Medical patients are highly engaged in their health care experience. With over 85% being commercially insured, they choose Circle Medical for it’s comprehensive primary care model and collaborative approach to care.

Can I practice virtually 100% of the time?

Our remote network of Telemedicine PCPs spend 98% of their patient care hours treating patients from the comfort of their homes via HIPAA compliant, two-way-video-audio. As a result of the end of the Public Health Emergency in May 2023, Circle Medical has reverted back to its original hybrid model of care ensuring the telemedicine PCPs are able to comply with any mandated, in person appointments at any one of our 26+ flagship and satellite clinic locations throughout the country.
