What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider? I am passionate about being a healthcare provider because it allows me to use knowledge and education to empower my patients to be the best version of themselves. I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and knowing I can have a positive impact on the lives of others. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? I believe a primary care provider should be a “guide on the side” along with the patient on their journey to health and wellness. I practice patient-centered care that considers the physical, social, and mental well-being of the patient. I believe in treating the whole person rather than an individual disease. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? In my spare time, I enjoy mountain biking and alpine skiing with my husband, who is a physical therapist. We also love hanging out with friends, family, and our beautiful daughter.
