What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider? I am passionate about delivering quality care and creating strong relationships with my patients. The satisfaction of helping a patient and hearing that you made a difference in their day is what is most rewarding about being a healthcare provider. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? I believe the Primary Care provider needs to be: a good listener, director, and coach. Asking and directing the correct questions will help identify key symptoms and diagnosis. Then, providing the patient medical suggestions based on standards of care and the upmost clinical research to deliver the best medicine and service to either their physical or behavioral needs. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? I have 14 years of experience in multiple specialties as a Physician Assistant and I served 4 years as a US Army Medical Officer. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, art, strength training, running, and hiking.
