What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider? My passion in healthcare comes from meeting patients where they are, helping them better understand their health, and working together to achieve a healthier version of themselves. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? In my opinion, the role of a primary care provider is to actively listen, show empathy, and consider all aspects of your health (mental and physical) to help you reach your goals. Patient education is important to me because it gives us a chance to discuss your medical concerns in ways that make sense. Together, we can create a unique medical plan according to your needs and preferences. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? Having been a military spouse, I learned how to adapt in an ever changing environment. I lived in four states and overseas. I know the struggles of working, going to school, and taking care of little ones all at the same time. I gained experience in geriatrics, internal medicine, and mental health. I enjoy spending time painting, traveling, and learning about different cultures. Life is full of ups and downs, but its how we handle the struggles that defines us, not the struggles themselves
