Tell us what makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider. I knew whatever career I ended up choosing would have to allow me to very directly care for and help others. As a PA I fortunately have the opportunity to do this on a daily basis while focusing on my other passions of health and wellness. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? A primary care provider should be the provider in a patient's care network that holds the most holistic view of the patient. They should be able to take all facets of a patient into account while working with the patient to determine the most effective treatment options for that individual, regardless of whether that relates to physical or mental health. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? I love to be active and spend time outside. I also love going to concerts and spending time with my family.
