What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider? Being a healthcare provider is so rewarding for me because I get to help my patients feel better. It’s amazing to hear from them and see how much their lives have improved. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? As primary care physicians (PCPs), we typically serve as the initial point of contact for individuals seeking healthcare. Our role is that of health coaches, who assess the comprehensive needs of patients, encompassing both physical and mental well-being. Based on these assessments, we provide appropriate treatment and, when necessary, facilitate referrals to specialists whose expertise falls beyond the scope of our practice for further consultation. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? When I’m not working, you can find me strumming my guitar, spending time with my loved ones, exploring new places, camping under the stars, or taking a leisurely motorcycle ride. I also love tackling DIY projects around the house and adding some extra flair to my small home renovation endeavors.
