What drives you to become a healthcare provider? Being a healthcare provider is incredibly fulfilling for me because I get to make a real difference in people’s lives. It’s truly amazing to hear and see how much they’ve improved and feel better. From your perspective, what should a primary care provider focus on to support patients, considering both their physical and mental health needs? As primary care physicians (PCPs), we’re the first line in healthcare patients reach out to for advice and treatment. We are health coaches, taking a holistic look at what patients need physically and mentally. Based on assessments, knowledge, and collaboration, we offer the right treatment and, when appropriate, facilitate finding specialists. Tell us a bit about yourself! What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working? When I’m not at work, you can find me strumming my guitar, hanging out with my family, exploring new places, camping under the stars, or taking a relaxing motorcycle ride. I also love getting into DIY projects around the house and adding a little extra charm to my home renovations.
