What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider? I have been working in healthcare for 14 years and as a Nurse Practitioner for 7 years. I enjoy working with people from all different backgrounds knowing that I can make a difference in their overall well being. My passion is in caring for the whole person focusing on preventative measures, health maintenance, taking into consideration both mental and physical health. I appreciate getting to know my patients and having the ability to solve any health issue they may want to address and more. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? I prefer to take the approach of shared decision making with each individual patient when developing a treatment plan. As a healthcare provider I am here to assess the whole patient in a way that guides us to the best plan of action at that time. We will focus on risk vs benefits of different treatment options and outcome goals. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? I am a wife and a Mom, born and raised in NJ. We have a fun loving Labrador Retriever who is our first baby. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also like to read, travel, and exercise, my activity of choice is riding the peloton bike.
