Tell us what makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider. As a healthcare provider, I am passionate about empowering people to be better through holistic approach in primary care. I believe in identifying the root cause of health concerns by considering the whole person profile which include physical health, mental, psychological, spiritual health, and social well being. By focusing on the root cause of health concerns, I could provide improved treatment, prevention, and guidance through pharmacological treatment, health education, and lifestyle modification instead of reliance on medication alone. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? The role of primary care provider represents the first line of defense against progression of acute medical condition into chronic diseases. It is important to consider the whole person profile physically, mentally, psychologically, spiritually, and socially in identifying, treating, and prevention of medical conditions. Primary care provider must also be an advocate and protector. Most importantly, the role of primary care provider is to do no harm. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? I am no different than anyone else. In my spare time you might see me at a gym, a local library checking out books or free movies in DVD, or we might just come across each other in an airport or a plane heading to a pristine beach overseas.
