What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider? I believe that being a healthcare provider is not only a job, but also a calling because of the positive impact that you have on other people’s lives. It is so rewarding to help patients meet their healthcare needs by providing excellent care every time. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? The primary care provider is the cornerstone of healthcare; by caring for the whole patient accounting for physical, mental and social elements. Every patient is different, and their care should be centered to their specific needs. Applying such a holistic approach integrated with a shared decision-making between the provider and the patient sets the patient up for success. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? I enjoy spending time with my family - playing in the park, watching movies, and baking. I also love to travel and try new foods.
