In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? Physical and behavioral health go hand in hand, thus a primary care provider should not disregard ones daily habits and thoughts but rather address them in a way that can benefit the patient and help them see that they can control their state of health, be it mind or body. What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider? Improving ones health and access to healthcare by actively applying my knowledge, skills, and critical thinking to resolve an acute illness or control chronic illness. Educating patients on their condition and discussing different treatment options. Most importantly building a relationship with my patients so they are comfortable and can openly discuss any concerns about their health. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? I like traveling, visiting a new place and learning about different cultures; it is very stimulating to me. I love the outdoors, from the mountains to the beaches. Cooking meals from various cultures is like meditation to me.
