Tell us what makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider. I know the practice of medicine to be a humbling experience that has shown me that I alone am not in charge and am just a part of a team and that patient participation is critical. I am passionate about providing the care and information that I would want my family to have. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? I have the opinion that the role of the primary care provider is to serve as the quarterback of the healthcare team that is required to get optimal care that is personalized. It is also important in this role to focus on prevention that is the best path to optimal health. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? In my spare time I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my son and my daughter, especially if they are not in school or studying. I also enjoy spending this spare time traveling with them, travel has been very valuable to me and my family.
