Being a healthcare provider allows me to make a meaningful impact on people's lives, offering care and comfort during their most vulnerable moments and educating them on prevention. I am passionate about the constant learning and problem-solving that comes with the field, which enables me to improve my skills and offer better care each day. Most importantly, I find fulfillment in building trusting relationships with patients, helping them heal and maintain their well-being. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? The primary care provider should be a helping hand to listen, provide feedback, and to provide efficient and accurate diagnoses to help patients manage their acute and chronic health issues. The PCP should look at the patient as a whole to address both physical and behavioral health needs and provide the patient a safe, non-judgmental and trusting place to discuss their health issues. When not working with clients or staying up-to-date on the latest innovations in the field of healthcare, I can be found expressing my creativity with craft projects and spending time with my husband, our beautiful son and the fur babies.
