In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? The primary care provider (PCP) is they lynchpin in any person's health care system. The PCP is the quarterback and should coordinate between all the different specialists that are involved in the patient's care. It is the job of the PCP to look out for the patient and ensure that all the disparate pieces come together for benefit of the patient. Additionally, education is a critical component of caring for a patient. The patient is better able to contend with the daily nuances of a particular disease process, if they understand that their symptoms are in fact a normal part of the disease. Understanding helps both the physical and psychological aspects of a sickness, injury or chronic illness. Often, addressing the psychological needs will help alleviate or even eliminate the physical symptoms. What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider? I started as a firefighter/EMT at the age of 16 in suburban Philadelphia. As I grew and developed (EMT, Combat Medic, paramedic, phlebotomist, epidemiologist, physician assistant) I noticed how many of my colleagues were disinterested or irritated by their patients. I always felt that every patient should be treated as I would want my grandmother treated, with honesty and respect. I became passionate about advocating for the patient. I strive to make the patient better, even if better just means that they leave the appointment with an iota more understanding of the disease process than when they came into the meeting. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? I am an avid scuba diver. I have been diving in 17 US states and 11 different countries. I dive both professionally and recreationally. I visit Mexico on a regular basis, having been to Cozumel 28 times in the last 8 years. I am a US Army veteran and a firefighter/rescue diver with over 22 years of experience.

Great service and caring doctors.

Eric

Because they get right to the main issues. Most doctors I have seen go through a trial and error diagnosis that goes on for a year or more.

Marlee

Simple and easy. My PCP is absolutely amazing, super helpful, kind and understanding. It was also very affordable and convenient.

Lee

My provider is very understanding and non-judgemental. She shows care for her patients. And I appreciate the convenience of being able to speak to a provider on telehealth.

Heidi

The ease and quick turnaround for an appointment is addressing a dire strain on the current infrastructure of healthcare (one of which they refuse to address). My provider was also unlike any healthcare provider that I’ve met. She was nonjudgmental, kind, and not only advocated for informed consent, but her actions aligned with it. This is the future for healthcare and it is about time.

Sarah

I found an amazing provider who has helped me more in the last few months than a team of specialists over the course of nearly a decade of care.

Valentin

Easy to schedule appointments, the chat is super responsive, and everyone I’ve talked to is friendly and helpful.

Pando

The care and treatment plan I have received has resulted in life-altering changes. My provider has worked closely with me identifying the best diagnosis and treatment of my ADHD. I feel incredibly safe in her care and confident in her ability to look at me as a whole while treating one issue. The ease of use, appointment times, and telehealth options make getting much needed care easily.

Alisa

It's very convenient and really knowledgeable staff.

Lissie

The turnaround time to get an appointment and see a provider was so quick and easy; everything is setup with the neurodivergent brain in mind from the way the app is designed to appointment reminders and calendar syncing. My provider made me feel heard and she kept our appointment focused on the task at hand (so important for adhd minds!)

Jenna

I have had an excellent experience with Circle Medical and their staff. Everyone has been ready to answer my questions, and openly looks to help me with my needs.

Kennedy

Circle Medical appealed to me because they clearly explain the process from start to finish on their website. The FAQ was particularly helpful in understanding how the tele-medicine approach works, and what I needed to do on my end. The app is user friendly, it was straightforward to set-up my account. I like that all of the necessary actions can be done via the app. The intake interview went smoothly with my health care provider. She was professional, polite and thorough. I feel that I received an accurate evaluation.

Nathanael

Circle Medical has been a life saver! The ability to use insurance is key, as well as the availability and variety of providers. I found an AMAZING primary provider that is hands-down the best I've ever had. Plus, the convenience of video visits is fantastic!! I love Circle Medical!

Brennan

I have had a wonderful experience overall. As a stay at home mom of 6 kids my schedule is schedule and finances are stretched tight. Circle has convenient appointments times, with caring medical professionals, and accepts my insurance so the cost is low.

Tricia

Because you are the only place that's decent with helping transgender people and getting them started on their journey. I highly recommend it.

Keira

The provider I was with was very professional, on time and took my requests/issues seriously and paid attention to me during the meeting. Many experiences with doctors, it seems like they aren't even listening and most likely drawing pictures on their note pads instead of treating you like an individual.

Amir

Very convenient for someone who has works contract jobs, and has to live in different places throughout the year.

Karlie

Easy to use. Friendly provider. Easy to explain symptoms without judgement.

Felicia

I referred a friend just yesterday. The reason why is I went through 5 other similar companies before I found this one that checks every box plus extra credit.

Rayan

Very understanding!! And absolutely adore the chat portal, where I can express how I'm feeling!!! Thank you Circle Medical 🙏 This journey wouldn't be possible without y'all's help! ❤

Casey

Easy process, excellent providers and a phenomenal app experience.

Nick

Oh my word! This experience has changed my life. No more wasted time in traffic, being exposed to others’ germs, long waits in the ‘waiting’ room. I’ve gotten the help I didn’t know I needed. And the providers are consistently working with me to tweak things or address anything else that might not be quite right. I have cried tears of happiness at having hope again, and how much better I feel!

Lindsay

The providers are very knowledgeable, friendly and available. I’ve met with multiple providers, never had any issues.

Xavier

Circle Medical has helped me find a provider that I am comfortable with and otherwise wouldn't be able to have as a primary care provider due to where I live. It also has helped me get help with my ADHD whereas I wouldn't be able to as easily with where I live.

Asher

With Circle Medical I don’t have to wait 3 hours to see my primary care physician, I can reschedule my appointment if necessary and their support team is always helpful and polite.

Tyrone

My primary care providers were a half hour away so I’d have to take 2 hours off work just to visit then. Being able to see a provider virtually on Circle Medical saves me a lot of time

Mark

Circle Medical is super-convenient, respectful of your time, and far superior to long waits and far-off scheduling with in-person doctors. I am super glad I discovered this.

Terrell

Convenient for a busy wife, mom, teacher, and grad student lifestyle. Helps me put my own health first.

Selina

My provider is awesome. She is always on time and prepared for my appointments. She is patient, listens to my concerns, and provides excellent care. The app is super easy to use and helps me keep track of my appointments and medical history. Will definitely recommend!

Chace

It has provided me services that would be difficult to obtain otherwise, all from the comfort of my home.

Kallie

My experience with Circle has been great. The first, and my current provider is very caring and understanding. From my first appointment until now I was able to talk to her without feeling like my words were falling on deaf ears. I've already recommended Circle to my friend and I would reommend that anyone who needs any help shouldn't hesitate and make the right choice. It's nice to be able to say that!

Adison

They listen. I finally got put on meds that help.

Jonas

Amazing practice. Every staff member has been nice, helpful, and responsive. There are not enough adjectives to describe how great my experience has been with Circle Medical.

Darian

Great service, This is very ideal for a person who can not make time to go see a doctor at a clinic.

Leah

The Circle Medical team works together to serve patient requests and needs promptly, courteously, and efficiently. I feel very fortunate to be a patient and count on support for my medical needs.

Felix

Excellent customer service and support. I usually avoid the doctor's office at all costs but my provider here is really nice and pleasant. Definitely a game changer for my health! Thank you :-)

Patrick

I feel so comfortable with my provider and the whole process is super easy and manageable!

Melissa

It’s just easy for a working mom in between calls when I have about 20 mins or so to actually care for myself and my health right from home.

Jess

I've had a great experience with this service. The provider is friendly welcoming understanding. The process is very easy.

Damon

I have already recommended it to my sister who suffers many of the same things I do, mostly for the incredibly stress-free telehealth appointments as in person visits cause me anxiety and are harder to get to with my schedule.
