Availabilities Today

Diabetes screening and treatment, now more accessible than ever.

Early screening is crucial to improve health outcomes. Prediabetes and early Diabetes often do not have symptoms.

Diabetes is a common but serious medical condition that affects over 10% of the US population. Even more, while over 96 million adult Americans have Prediabetes, less than 20% actively manage their condition.

Untreated Prediabetes frequently leads to Type II Diabetes, which causes serious health complications, including heart disease, chronic kidney disease, nerve damage, and other problems with feet, vision, hearing, and mental health.

The good news is that it is easier to monitor and manage both Diabetes and Prediabetes. With expert healthcare guidance, Prediabetes and Diabetes can be reversed.

If you have already been diagnosed with Diabetes or would like to be screened for Prediabetes/Diabetes, talk to a Circle Medical provider today who can help you identify symptoms, order A1C bloodwork for accurate diagnosis, refer out to a specialist if needed, and prescribe the latest and most effective treatments to ensure you continue living your healthiest life.

Easy to schedule appointments, easy to use the app, got the care I needed quickly, friendly providers, quality care.

Olivia

Easy process for booking, very helpful chat feature, they able to take care of pretty much everything including preauthorization with my provider.

Ernesto

Access and personal connection. The three providers I interacted with seem to have gone out of their way to make things easy for me. It was a seamless experience from assessment/consultation, labs, and medications; it all just worked. As an NP I now know I want to work for an organization like Circle.

Rolando

My provider was great! Very friendly and made me feel comfortable talking about some uncomfortable parts of my life.

Maleah

Their support has been quite helpful. Apparently certain meds are very hard to get right now but they are fighting for me. As someone with an auto immune disease, telehealth during Covid has been invaluable. I cannot risk getting sick, but must continue my mental health treatment.

April

It has been fast and easy. The clinicians are great and I found my primary care through this. I love how they are even knowledgeable about LGBTQ+ stuff which is exactly what I've been looking for

Briggs

The provider I spoke with was very knowledgeable and listened to me. She explained things well and made me comfortable.

Theresa

Very easy to use, caring employees, fair prices, quick treatment.

Sasha

I have struggled for years with my health issues, but always ran into barriers in getting affordable treatment. With Circle Medical, I saw a provider, received a diagnoses, and am already on treatment. All within a few days! They listen and also make getting help so easy.

Amber

I love the provider I’ve been consulting with. She’s attentive and helps me make informed decisions on any adjustments to medication.

Cesar

I have had nothing but a great experience all around. The providers are great and the online staff has been helpful every time I’ve needed anything.

Isabel

I work all day and I have to take time off of work to visit the doctor. This is so much more convenient.

Rooker

I found an amazing provider who has helped me more in the last few months than a team of specialists over the course of nearly a decade of care.

Valentin

It's easy to book an appointment, the physicians are nice and the customer service is great.

Ezra

Your app is the best I’ve used, and I design apps for a living. I absolutely love my provider. She’s so kind and caring and very easy to talk to.

Riley

My provider was absolutely lovely and I had a much better experience in general with Circle Medical than I ever have with any psychiatrist.

Bobby

My provider is absolutely amazing. Very compassionate, listens, provides feedback, and takes her time. I feel very comfortable and confident with my care.

Arielle

It’s very convenient and flexible. The providers are very compassionate and foster an open environment that allows patients to take control of their health and well-being.

Jose

Wonderful experience. I feel heard. The virtual visit with the provider has been so positive. I feel I've gotten better care than I have had in my past in-person visits.

Emery

My provider was fantastic and very nice. I felt relaxed in my home environment and was able to be truthful without the fear and anxiety I get in a doctor's office.

Arnav

The scheduling and administrative stuff that's usually a nightmare with healthcare providers is a total breeze w/ Circle. I have an amazing doctor who is attentive to my needs and provides excellent care.

Monique

I have gotten my entire family to switch over to Circle. It’s extremely convenient and has great providers.

Natasha

This app is a perfect way for people who have adhd and anxiety and anything similar. It is insanely difficult for me to get myself to the doctor with kids, as well. This has helped so much and helped me get the treatment I desperately need in the comfort of my own home. I recommend it to everyone.

Aaden

Everyone has been absolutely wonderful to work with. Genuine, resolves my concerns and intelligent. Thank you!

Alex

The provider made appointments comfortable to talk and discuss my problems. It is easy to schedule and have access to messaging. Very affordable compared to other facilities I have looked into.

Junior

Fast and clear appointment and scheduling process. Knowledgeable providers. Responsive support staff.

Immanuel

This system, the efficiency, and care behind it is the best that I have come across. I have been uncomfortable addressing issues like ADD and ADHD as an adult, so I put this off for years. My provider has already helped in 2 sessions and I started my prescription within days. I have to say, I am already feeling better simply taking the initial steps. A big thanks to this team!

Madalynn

My provider has been so kind, validating, and understanding. She’s helped me understand my ADHD and treat it.

June

Easy scheduling. Quick responses on the app. Super friendly staff and the providers are thorough and comprehensive with their questions and exams. I never feel rushed. I feel like this is a concierge experience.

Tiara

Provider was very nice, attentive, she listed to me and i am very satified.

Laura

I absolutely appreciate my provider. She is respectful and very approachable. Every experience has been positive.

Ross

This is the first practice in over a decade where I actually felt heard. Advocating for yourself can be hard when you’ve had other practitioners who are dismissive and condescending. This practice is the complete opposite and a much needed breath of fresh air.

Yolanda

My provider is great. Answers all of my questions before our visit ends. I originally used Circle Medical because I couldn’t get an appointment with a provider in person, but because of my experience I decided to keep Circle as my primary care provider.

Thalia

Fast, easy to use, excellent professional service. There are many lousy companies and scams out there, and this is definitely NOT one of them!

Khalil

The service and care my provider has provided for me since being a patient has been second to none! It's changed my life to be honest. Highly recommend Circle Medical!

Thomas

Easy, fast booking, respectful treatment, great documentation and communication. My provider listens to me, takes my input into account and treats me like an equal, not like an annoyance. Can't recommend enough, A+++++

Tim

I love the app. Excellent. You could book on an appt early or on weekends. The provider I work with is knowledgeable, friendly, compassionate and very supportive and thorough!!!

James

This was super easy to use and understand I could do this in the comfort of my own home. I am very happy with the change that is coming in my life because of Circle Medical.

Kelly

Great experience! I love my provider! She listens to all my concerns. And gives wonderful advice! Very knowledgeable, kind and understanding.

Asia

My provider was easy to work with. She's also licensed in both CA and FL where I split my time - which makes my medical care sooo much easier! She was lovely ♥️.

Frequently Asked

Diabetes care

How do I get a blood test through Circle Medical?

Book an initial appointment with any Circle Medical provider. During that appointment, your provider will get to know you and recommend a specific blood test or multiple tests. They will then order the blood work for you, and you can go to a Quest or LabCorp lab near you to have the test performed. Your results will be automatically uploaded to the Circle Medical app and your provider will be in touch.

How do I share an existing blood test result with Circle Medical?

Once you have booked an appointment with a Circle Medical provider, you will be prompted to download our HIPAA compliant mobile app. Upon signing into your account, you will be able to upload files and images via our in-app messaging system for your provider to review and discuss with you.

What if I just need a diabetes medication refill? Can I get that through Circle Medical?

To get a medication refilled, book an initial appointment with any Circle Medical provider. Medication should be used in combination with diet and lifestyle improvements, and your provider will be able to spend that initial appointment getting to know you and your health history. Any medications will be sent to a pharmacy of your choice.

I haven’t really been managing my prediabetes or diabetes… where should I start?

We understand. Making lifestyle changes can be intimidating, and it can be difficult to stay in touch with your provider for various reasons. Once you book an initial appointment, you’ll be able to discuss your health history with your provider, who will then recommend a care plan that is specific to your needs. You can reach out to your provider at any time through in-app chat, and video appointments are easy to book and join, which makes getting support for diabetes management a little easier.

I’m starting to experience other health concerns. How do I know if it’s related to my diabetes?

It really depends on your individual health, so the best next step for you is to book an initial appointment with any Circle Medical provider. Our primary care providers are able to diagnose and treat all general conditions outside of diabetes care, so we encourage you to find a Circle Medical provider that you trust and can share all of your healthcare concerns with.

If you are experiencing severe health concerns, please dial 911 or visit your nearest emergency room.

How do I share my glucometer results with my provider?

You can use our in-app messaging system to upload files and images for your provider to review.

How often do I need to have appointments?

Your specific appointment frequency depends on your individual care plan. If this is a new diagnosis for you, you may have more frequent appointments with your provider to allow room for modifications to your care plan based on what is working. Patients who have stabilized their blood sugar levels and are focused on maintenance typically see their providers less frequently; about once every 3-6 months. We encourage you to discuss appointment frequency with your provider during your initial appointment if you have questions.

Do I need an in-person appointment for diabetes care?

Our approach to diabetes management is to provide better access to high quality providers through video appointments and in-app chat, so you can get support whenever you need it. Living a healthier lifestyle is a long-term process, and you deserve support that can adapt to your needs.

Do I have to take medications if I am diagnosed with pre-diabetes or diabetes?

Your Circle Medical provider will work with you and provide guidance on lifestyle changes. It is possible to control diabetes and prediabetes through adherence to lifestyle modifications when diagnosed and acted upon early.

General

Do new patients need to prepare anything for their first appointment at Circle Medical?

For a detailed breakdown of what you need for your first appointment with Circle Medical, read the article below:

How to Prepare for Your First Appointment

Where are Circle Medical’s clinics located? Where can I get care?

Circle Medical has in-person clinics in California and is expanding its in-person presence across the US, but you can get high quality care via telemedicine video appointments in 25 states across the US.

To see what states are currently available, please start booking an appointment and the available states will show as options for you to select.

Do I need to book my appointment with a doctor (MD or DO), or can I book my appointment with any provider (PA-C, NP, etc)?

You do not need to book your initial appointment with a doctor. You can book your appointment with any provider that we have available. Our providers all work closely together to make sure that we are providing the same excellent standard of care to all patients regardless of which provider you book your appointment with.

What is the total cost of treatment?

Circle Medical is a primary care practice, which means that the only fee due to us is the cost of the appointment itself. We accept insurance, so your plan may pay some or all of the appointment fee. Circle does not charge any ongoing membership fees to use our platform.

If you are prescribed medications, you will pay for them when you pick them up at a pharmacy.

Insured

We contract with most PPO insurance plans. If you are a California Bay Area resident, we also work with a small number of HMO plans.

To verify if we work with your insurance, simply start booking an appointment online. You will be prompted to enter your insurance details and will receive eligibility results instantly as well as an estimate of your appointment cost prior to confirming your appointment.

Some PPO plans that we currently work with are:

Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Aetna, Blue Shield of California, Cigna, Health Net, Humana, and United Healthcare.

Our insured patients pay an average of $5-$50 per appointment.

Plans that we cannot work with are:

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide care for patients who have Medi-Cal or Medicaid insurance. This is because we are not licensed Medi-Cal or Medicaid providers, so we are not able to provide care, even if these patients choose to pay cash instead of use their insurance. If you have Medi-Cal or Medicaid, please do not book an appointment with us, as we will be unable to provide care even if you do not enter your insurance information.

Uninsured

We also offer a self-pay option at a flat rate of $100 per appointment.

Step-by-Step Timeline

Please take a minute to review our FAQ and make sure that you are a good candidate for treatment through our practice before you book your appointment.

2 min

Book an appointment online

Select your state of residence, pick a provider and time, and confirm your insurance coverage for your real-time estimated costs before you finalize your appointment.

2-3 min

Download the app and prepare for your appointment

Download the app right after you book your appointment, and you’ll receive a few questionnaires to complete prior to your visit.

Complete your first appointment and start treatment

A few minutes before your scheduled appointment time, you will receive a link in the in-app chat to join the video call. Make sure that you are in an area with a strong cellular connection.

If you are a good candidate for care, your provider will then discuss your treatment plan. Again, be sure to read through the FAQ to make sure that you are a good candidate for care before booking your appointment.

Your provider will send any prescriptions to your preferred pharmacy, and we will alert you in the app when your prescription is ready for pick-up. This can take up to 24 hours after your appointment.
