What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider?
My focus in medical care, I have a patient-centered approach addressing the whole person. I am passionate about assisting the patient to discover their root cause of illness. Through guided health promoting interventions they discover their optimal body functions.
In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs?
Physical and Mental health are interconnected. I assist my patients to look at the whole picture : our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices.
Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy yoga, meditation, being out in nature and spending time with my husband on our boat. I am a mom to 4 children. In my spare time I am involved in my children’s sporting activities. I encourage all of them to make a positive imprint in this world.
