What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider?
I am passionate about providing convenient, accessible, and quality healthcare to all. Being able to treat a person's whole body, including one's mind, is a very rewarding part of my job.
In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs?
A primary care provider should know her patient on a more personal level, as there are many outside factors that can affect one's health. Understanding a patient's stressors, joys, hobbies, and family life is incredibly important in addressing overall physical and behavioral health.
Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time?
I am a huge Pittsburgh sports fan and love going to football, hockey, and baseball games in my spare time. I also enjoy trying new coffee shops, going for walks with my toddler, and reading.
