Nicki Thorne is an experienced dual certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with demonstrated history of working in both family medicine and psychiatry. She has been a registered nurse for over 16 years and has worked as a nurse practitioner for over 6 years. She has a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree focused in Nurse Administration/Leadership from Old Dominion University, a Post-Master’s Certificate from Vanderbilt University as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and a Post-Master’s Certificate from University of Nevada, Reno as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has a passion for teaching others about health and wellness and incorporates functional/integrative medicine with each patient interaction. She seeks to empower her patients to live their best life. Outside of the office, Nicki enjoys exploring the Tahoe Basin hiking, camping, and skiing with her family.
