Board Certified, Family Medicine, 23 years of experience
The role of a primary care provider includes diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses in a comprehensive manner. The most important criteria is delivering care in a manner that addresses the person as a whole inclusive of social, physical and mental challenges. The primary care provider also coordinates care and act as liaison to specialty care, diagnostic services and community resources. Lastly, the primary care provider educates and serves as healthcare partner in support of patient centered care. I have been in healthcare all of my adult life and enjoy every facet of patient care. I am goal oriented, organized and passionate about life in general. Traveling is my favorite hobby as well as learning the culture, values and social mores of others. Three important traits I value are gratitude, humility and honesty.
