because we live in a healthcare system that’s customer service based and I’d never want to compromise your ratings I’ll put 4 stars but I implore you to lead with curiousity instead of assumptions with your patients. ask what are different ways they’ve tried it and maybe avoid “as you know” so much prior to offering advice. the healthcare system is not just frustrating for you it’s frustrating for the patient and compassion needs to be had and grace and benefit of the doubt should be given. especially through a telehealth platform where the app doesn’t even work half the time. if my patients don’t have their labs readily available I just kindly ask them to send it on over instead lecturing them on what they should or shouldn’t be doing. if you have advice just offer it, condescending disclaimers don’t need to be given prior to every sentence. thank you for acknowledging how I may have experienced your care even if it was with defensiveness initially. girl I’m burnt out too but everyone is
