Tell us what makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider. I really enjoy taking care of patients of all ages and being able to make a difference in their lives. In particular, I love educating patients on their medical conditions to empower them to improve their own health through lifestyle changes. Seeing patients get better is incredibly gratifying and always reminds me of why I became a physician. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? A primary care provider's role in the lives of patients is to ensure that they are at their peak physical and emotional health. This is accomplished through education, physical and diagnostic assessment and an empathetic approach. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? I enjoy dining on delicious food, having quiet evenings at home and spending quality time with my family.
