What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider? I enjoy being a healthcare provider because I enjoy partnering with my patients on their health journeys to achieve positive outcomes. I believe in taking a proactive rather than reactive approach to health which is accomplished through this partnership. This is very rewarding for me as a healthcare provider. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? The role of the primary care provider is to take care of the "whole person". This involves doing a thorough assessment and actively listening to ensure I have all the information necessary to formulate an individualized plan of care to address both physical and mental health needs. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? I have enjoyed being an NP for 7 years in various settings. I believe in prioritizing and achieving a good work/life balance. I am a wife and mother of 3 beautiful children. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy traveling, cooking, and baking. Self-care is a must while balancing it all.
