In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? Through compassion, knowledge, respect and humility the provider is in the position to inspire total confidence in the patient. When the trust is built the provider becomes the mentor and advocate for the patient. What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider? I like working with people which is why I am passionate about healthcare. Intrinsically, I have always had the desire to help others. It feels good when I am part of making someone healthier or improving their wellbeing. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? When I am not providing patient care I enjoy reading and running. My favorite book is The Dancing Wu Li Masters by Gary Zukav.
